First, the basics:
For best results, grind your beans just prior to brewing. Always use a clean coffee maker and start with fresh, cold water. Use 0.7 ounces of coffee for every 12 ounces of water. Serve immediately after brewing. If coffee must stand before serving, hold it in a vacuum carafe to preserve flavor.
Never reheat or boil coffee.
